• Wind Burn

    Another windy day in Colorado
I was just asking for it today with the High Wind Warning and all. Riding north and south was out of the question really. I tried briefly, but keeping the bike in a straight line and out of the ditch or other lane was a treat. Not to mention dodging the debris flying out the fields, ditches, and randomly through the air. It is amazing how much ground you can cover with a 30+ mph tailwind......and then how little progress you make turning around and heading straight into that now 30+ mph headwind. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrg.

Typically the closer to the foothills you are the stronger the winds are. So, with that in mind I headed east towards the Greeley area to do my intervals today. The winds out there were bad too. Makes me wonder just how bad it is on the west side of Fort Collins. Geez. The wind is bad! Just ask those living down near the northern edge of Boulder where the land is burning!

Luckily tomorrow the winds die down and temps warm up even more.
