This is my first year on Maxxis products. So far the Re-Fuse 700x25 tire that I have been running for road training rocks! The rubber compund is hard enought to offer tons of durability, yet soft enough to give a good smooth ride and great hook up. I have ridden down gravel roads...ripped out 7 hours rides...and turn'd out some roller rides. The tires still look like the day I put it on. I talked to the Maxxis rep at QBP Frost bike, and he said that the HealthNet team runs these things hard...all the way down to the Kevlar belt. So, if you are looking for a good year round durable training tire, look no further than the Maxxis Re-Fuse. Retail on this tire is right around $25 per tire.
