    Some of the local flatlanders did pretty well at the Leadville 100 this past weekend. Hey, it's not an easy event. You try riding our bike at 12,000 ft for an average time of 9 hours when you live at 120 ft above sea level. Here are some results...

    • 119 Connie Inks Waterloo, IA 9:18:15 (2nd in her race category!)
    • 157 Bruce Grell Davenport, IA 9:38:10
    • 203 John Adamson Cedar Falls, IA 9:55:46
