The Last Hurrah

Well people, I have to tell you that besides being the technical advisor on this blog, I am also a very big weather fan. You know, checkin' out all the latest weather info all the time. So, it is with a sad heart that I must inform you all that this weekend is probably the last time you'll be able to get out and ride the trails comfortably until, oh.............NEXT YEAR! I know, I know. How droll of me to drop that darkness on you all. Hey, at least your getting a heads up so you can plan something! If you miss this chance, well, don't say you didn't know. Of course, maybe your hardcore. Maybe you've got killer lights and cold weather gear. Maybe. Forcasted temps for next week are going to be highs- upper 30's, lows- TEENS! Winter, baby! You'll need that cold weather gear! So, don't miss your chance to ride outside this weekend! Sunny, and upper 50's- low 60's. Me, I'm stuck riding all year long. Especially now that one of our cars is in the body shop after getting drilled in the back end by...you guessed it! An UNINSURED DRIVER! But I'm not bitter or anything, REALLY! Hey, when your all comfy some December or January morning in your toasty car going to work, think of me. I'll be the lunatic huffing up the "water tower hill" on University Avenue in the face of a northwest blast on a sub- zero commute to work. Cheers! Maybe I'll break my record. 8 degrees below air temp on a crisp January morning in '03. ......................Maybe!
