• Big day planned on Monday.

Got up this AM before I had to be into work at noon and put in 4 hours on the bike. Did a bit of everything....intervals, hill repeats, sprints, high rpm spinning at a set HR, etc, etc, etc. Since I was a slave to the master at the shop all weekend, I have Monday off. WAHOOOOOOO!

So I have a goal of 8 hours planned tomorrow at my 24 hour pace. Not sure where I am going to ride to as of yet, but the wind ins supposed to be light out of the SW and the temps are to be around 90. Might try to get down towards Marshalltown. Not sure yet. Go'na have to look at a map. I will try to take the camera. But if it takes up room that I could be carrying a flask of Perpetum or a Clif Bar it will stay home. With the high heat tomorrow there will be mucho amounts of ELETE consumed.

Today was the Iowa State Road Championships. I wonder how JY and the rest of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls roadies fared?

Next weekend is Iowa State Mountain Bike Championships...I think? I might go if I can find someone to work for me on Sunday. I would like to do the XC race then either gravel grind or road ride the 100 miles back to Cedar Falls. Is this a bad idea?

G-Ted went on a mnt bike ride on Saturday with his new bike setup. Check it out. I rode it at the shop the other day and it is waaaaaaaay comfy. Pretty ideal for Trans-Iowa.

Don't forget about the 24 Hours of Seven Oaks! Win the solo race and walk away with 5 Benjamins in your pocket. Sounds fair to me.

That's all. Gotz to finish my whole wheat pasta topped with olive oil, p-cheese, Italian seasoning, and fresh cut roma tomatoes. Yummmmmm.

What I am thinking now..."I wish I was faster. Like this!" Now that is fast! Dang!
