• Power plateaus

    3 x 20 min 285 wtCoach had me throwing down some 20 minutes intervals this AM. As painful as the workout looked on paper.....it actually turned out to be a very good ride. My legs have felt about the best they have all year when putting out tempo intervals at 285 watts. The best part was that as the training session when on...my legs felt better. Actually had to back off on the effort to keep the numbers within range. That, my friends, is a very good thing.

    Next 2 days are going to be pretty chill on the bike. This weekend will be BIG. Saturday, I am hitting up the B-68 in Breckenridge. This 2 lap 68 mile race is going to be good. The course is epic and the trails are some of the best around.....happiness will be achieved. The day after, is a pre-ride of the Leadville 100 course and equipment testing. This weekend will end up being a 17 hour training block......ugh. Rest over the next 2 days will be super important.
