• He's on crazy pills!

So get this...One of the local cyclist freaks in town is taking a few days off from work to go on a ride. Mike Fox, who has established himself as an endurance rider over the past few years by completing numerous centuries, double centuries, brevets, and even the 1200k BMB is taking a ride. A loooooooong ride.

His plan is to ride from Waterloo, IA to Kansas City, MO (about 300 miles)....and then...to hop on the 225 mile long KatyTrail across Missouri....then ride home. Why you ask? Cause he can! What makes this all the more difficult to achieve is the time of year. If he was doing it in the summer, there would be relatively no problems. But to do it in mid-November when rain, snow, ice, and sub-freezing temps are the norm is just pure insane!!!

So his plan is to leave late this afternoon at 4:00 PM and try to get to Des Moines by 1:00 AM. Then after that it's off to KC and beyond. All of this self-suported carrying all his own gear and lodging at cheap hotels along the way.

Good luck Mike!! Can't wait to hear the stories!!!

    Respect...much respect.

FYI...new good looking clothing for good looking people is now ready for shipping!
