So I got hot spots in my feet a 24-9. Hot spots are really nothing new, but this weekend was way different. This past weekend it really hurt, and the pain was impossible to deal with. I have never had it that bad.

So last night after work I am reading cyclingnews.com and there is an article by KB about dealing with different pain problems on multiday mnt bike events. Oddly enough, he gives a cure for helping with hotspots. What does he suggest? Cork under the sole of for shoes.

That's pretty cool. It goes into detail as to why it works by helping push away heat build up that is caused from cleat to pedal contact. This has me thinking. Might have to give it a try if I can find some inexpensive cork.
